Dissolving to Area within Specific Country

Good Afternoon,

I have a Dataset with NUTS3 code, Postal Code, and country. it is limites specifically to Europe.  I cannot figure out the correct settings for a dissolve that creates the NUTS3 area by aggregating postal codes, and looking up those postal codes by the country field. Any Thoughts??  Every permutation that i have tried ends up including US and MX locations. Thanks!

Hi Joe,

The availability of postal code areas varies by country for coverage please see:

Qlik GeoAnalytics Coverage

The lookup of postal codes are best specified with "postal code, country code:location type code":

='41103,SE:XPC'

More info see doc for the Locations Service:

http://bi.idevio.com/products/idevio-maps-for-qlik-sense/documentation

Eurostat supplies NUTS regions on their download page, can be imported directly into QGA.

http://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/web/gisco/geodata/reference-data/administrative-units-statistical-units...

Thanks,

Patric
