Server V10 "Session Recovery"?

From the new V10 "QlikView Server Reference Manual.pdf":

Session recovery
There is now a setting on QlikView Server enabling intelligent session recovery for Ajax and mobile clients. When this setting is used, the current selection state for each user will be saved when a session is ended and re-applied the next time the same user reconnects to the same document. This feature is currently "all or nothing", meaning that it affects all users and all documents on a server.

But it doesn't mention it anywhere in the rest of the PDF, nor can I find a setting in Server V10 that controls it.

Anybody know how to configure this setting?

Thanks,
Gary Strader

Thanks Sue! I tested it on a customer installation, and on our local installation, and it didn't appear to work on either. We were using Firefox. I don't think it could be a browser version issue but I will try with IE8 and see if that makes a difference.

I Tried checking the "prohibit session recovery" box too and it works perfectly.

For reference, I tested it with QV10 / Ajax client / Firefox 4.

Did you have to restart anything for the setting to stick? Also, has anyone tested this on an iPhone. It looks like even if refresh mobile safari that it holds on to previous selections.

I can't seem to make it work. Neither on FireFox 6.0 not on IE 8. I have checked and unchecked the prohibit session recovery button and the session is always saved to its prior state. I'm using QVS 10 SR3.

Can any of the people who made it work, please explain?
