Hello,
i'm trying to lunch the preview of an excel report in nprinting (17.6) but i'm receiving an internal server error:
Nprinting is installed in the same machine of qlikview server (dwh-ix-001), and the designer is currently loaded from my local machine; i think that this is the problem, but not sure. Does everyone face this issue?
Hi,
Please check that correct ports are opened on your firewall https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2017/Content/DeployingQVNprinting/Ports.htm.
Check also the Qlik NPrinting logs https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/November2017/Content/AdministeringQVNprinting/Logging/Logging....
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Hi Oreste,
I think its required on different machine.
Thanks,
Arvind Patil
I agree, for use in production or to create a POC. If you want just to use the installation to learn Qlik NPrinting you can install both on the same computer.
Hello, this issue was probably related to something wrong with the services, after a reboot it was ok. Anyway, we kept qlikview server and nprinting on the same machine, but after a while the situation become unstable for unknown reasons, so we decided to move nrinting to a different VM.
This is the reason why installing QlikView or Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting in the same computer is not supported.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
