Qlik Sense Nov 2017, Patch 1: App does not open on Desktop, opens fine in Server

Hello, I have several apps that refuse to open on Desktop after I upgraded to Nov 2017, patch 1.

This is from the System Engine Log as I tried to open one of them:

----

I imported the app into a QS Server (Nov 2017, patch 1, too), and it opened ok, so I exported it back to desktop to see if the problem was solved. It is not. The app still won't open in desktop.

It is not a resource problem. The apps are small enough and have worked on the same desktop machine up until the upgrade.

Any clues?

Well, I am now on the February 2018 release and everything is fine again.

I guess that's an upside of the new release cadence!
