Blank Column in table

Hi guys,

Is there any way to get rid of the additional blank column within a table.  I haven't set it, so I guess this is a default setting from somewhere.

I only want to show 4 columns !

Thanks

mto‌; Hi Mike; please report this behaviour.

I always have some negative feedback from users when It comes to simple tables behaviour especially when you resize the dashboard..

Hi all,

Thanks very much for your input.  Hopefully we'll get a fix at some point because it is very annoying!

Thanks

Hi all,

The behavior is intended and something we added after we made it possible to adjust the width of columns. The last empty column doesn't actually exist, instead it's a placeholder to tell the user where the column before ends. You can get rid of it by dragging the last column all the way to the right.

I'll see if we can improve the design and potentially remove the row lines.

Kind regards,

Patrik.

Hi Patrik,

I think that the main issue with the qlik sense simple table is its behaviour when resizing the dashboard;

See: If, the size of the dashboard is narrow: it'll show perfectly:

Now, when the screen size is larger, instead of its column adapting to the new width, each column will keep its original width and we'll see the huge blank area... which is really frustrating the users...:

Hope you'll find a way to make the columns adapt to the screen size with the possibility of chaging it manually being kept.

Hi Omar,

Thanks for the feedback and especially the pictures.

I'll take the feedback back to the team and we will see how we can improve it. I assume removing the lines in this case would not be good as the area would still be empty, so rather a setting on the table to either adapt to size or keep pixel width.

Kind regards,

Patrik.
