Not able to browse Qliksense dashboard from Public IP

Hello ALL,

I ahve a server, where i had once installed Qlikview. Now i have uninstalled qlikview and running Qliksense. But i can access sense dashboard via Private IP but not via Public IP. I am  not able to access sense dashboard via Public IP. Can anyone help me in this?

Hey Andrea,

Thanks but i have asked IT team to open the ports 4244, 4248, 443 for public IP. Lets see if this works.

are you talking about Qlik Sense Server?

if Yes take a look at Host white list on QMC under virtual proxy advanced properties.

Maybe the public IP is missing there.

Yes, i am talking about Qliksense server. I ahve added both public and private IP undr whitelist but still via Public IP , it is not accessbile

Error I am getting is, server taking too long to respond. But same

dashboard is working via private IP.

did you try to run a telnet to that public ip ?

on your windows computer execute the command cmd (Command Prompt) and type as below:

telnet your_publicIP 443

to check if you can reach the ip/port from your computer.

You mean,

telnet your_publicIP:443?

no must be a space between host name and port.
