Update data in QVD/QVF

Dear Experts,

I want to make what-if analysis. I have a input text box in my dashboard where i can change the value and see its impact on charts. Now i want to update the changed data in QVD/QVF permanently.

What is the solution to it?

Hi,

Not something that will work just out of the box, but you maybe able to do with an extension.

Other than that the only option i can think of is you Export the data in the charts, save this document with yoru QVD.

You can then change your script to pick up the excel document and load from Qvd, where there don't exist in the QVD. then store back out to qvd.

Not ideal, but i don't QlikSense was designed with this in mind.

Why do you want to change it permanently? Maybe app generation could help?
