Apps with no migration status

Hi,

I have some apps on the QMC apps list that have no migration status. Those apps are not appearing on the list when I filter any of the migration statuses (unknown, successful, migration filed, pending, ongoing), therefore I can't manually migrate.
Any suggestions, what it means and what to do in that case?

Have those apps been published?  I think if they have not been published then they would not show a migration status.

Hello Miriam,

If the App has NO any status in MIGRATION STATUS field - that means that this app was created in this(currently installed) version of Qlik Sense and no need to migrate, therefore no actions required. Typically after fresh upgrade all Qlik Sense Monitoring Apps will have empty status.

1: UNKNOWN -  waiting repository service to prepare app for migration (include in the list of apps to migrate)

2: PENDING - waiting in queue when repository service pick app in process and initiate migration process

3: ONGOING - obviously migration is in process

4: SUCCESSFUL - migration completed successfully

5: MIGRATION FAILED - obviously failed

You can check repository/migration logs for detailed information.

Hello Andrei and thank you,
It makes sense but something is still bothering me: this app has duplicates with "Succesful" migration status, how can it be?
I checked the migration logs, the last log file is from February (two months ago) and it ends with errors and "Repository configuration not available" message.

My app didn't fail to migrate, it has no migration status at all.

That's strange, but I'm not surprised

Could you please check by ID if both apps are opening and available for user?

Are they both working as expected?

I prefer not to touch something which is working, because in many cases after 'fix' it stops working at all

All working...then I guess I will leave it like this.

Though it's strange- the last log is from two months ago and it shows errors. I expected for newer log files. In which frequency it happens?

Migration log appears only within migration process - so, I believe you upgraded your QlikSense 2 months ago, next time will be when you upgrade your platform once again.
