NPrinting 17 - Reload Task possible or anything similar meanwhile?

Hi,

I'm still using NPrinting 16. I didn't update to NP17 yet, because there's no reload task anymore.

Does anybody know a solution for doing something similar as a reload task in NP 17 as it exists in NPrinting 16?

Example:

I have a qvw that needs 1 hour for reloading and the concerning report is needed once in a month on demand, but then as fast as possible and with up to date data. Reloading the qvw permanently would be a waste of performance...

How to trigger the reload first for a local qvw or on the server before creating the report?

Is there any possibility doing that with the most recent NPrinting version in combination with QlikView?

Regards

Hi Robin..

What if you use API and  first reload a QVW and then trigger a NPrinitng task as a following task.

  • This can be done using:
    • QMC as a scheduler for your task
    • API for NPrinting task trigger

Hi Lech,

thanks for your answer.

I'll try that as soon as I have an NPrinting Testversion available.
