Table linked to a chart not filtering as expected

Hello.

I have a treemap which shows a count of customers by location where a status field is only in a certain state - this works fine.  e.g. in one location I have 300 customers in total and 166 of these have a state of '23' and the treemap correctly shows only the a count of 166.

I have a second table which shows me the specific customer names and details for each location. 

When I click on the treemap, the second table correctly filters by location but it shows all customers, not those where the status is 23. 

What am I doing wrong?

if the state is via a Set Expression this will not get applied to the table as it is not a filter; it just affects the measure it is applied on.  Copy this same measure (with set Expression) to the table.
