Charts

Hello Guys,

     I need to know thw max and min limits of dimensions and expressions of all charts in qlikview.

     I am feeling like that is the important thing where I am stucking in.

    So,  Can anyone tell me those information?

r you taking about range we are showing in charts

if yes then go to properties ->axes -.heree you will find the static min,static max and step

state min means minmum number you want show in ur chart

state Max means Max number you want show in ur chart

static step means interval you want betwween static mean and static max

ex

min- 0

max-10

and step is 1 theen it will show on y axis 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.10

and if it 2 it will show 0,2,4,6,8,10

and so on

Hi,

I think it will depend on the chart types which type you use and how much it use full to it thats why we have different types of charts.

Look Data Visualization.qvw in the application.

Hi Anand,

     Yes, you are right... It ll differ from chart to chart. Sometime I got confused how many dimensions maximum I can use in a combo or bar chart... Thats why I need a definite list... So that I can easily limit the effort while creating reports...

     Can you help me in this.

Basically say

Pivot and Straight table has no limits

Line Chart has

Dimension 2 and 1 Expression

Gauge Chart

Only takes Expression

Grid Chart

Dimension 2 and 2 Expression

Scatter Chart

Dimension 2 and 2 Expression

Radar Chart

Dimension 2 and Expression

Also refer REference Mannual

I have not such type of list
