OLE DB Connector or Specific DB Connector?

Hi, QlikSense April 2018 now has several new connectors, such as MS SQL connector, compared to in the past (Sept 2017)only OLE DB was available for DB connections.

Since both MS SQL Connector and OLE DB Connector work for my db connection, what's the best practice for choosing connector? Can I say OLE DB is a more general one, and specific connectors (MS SQL or Oracle) provide more customization?
