If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

2) The description for Event ID 300 from source Engine cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

CGenericConnection: QvConnect failed to connect to pipe in timely manner

We are using QS Version 3.2 SR4 qliksenseserver 10.28.2 on WIndows Server 2012 QuadCore 64bit.

I´ve a customer with the same issue and I opened a case on Qlik.

If you have a possibility to remove all shared objects or delete users objects in your current applications, you may find a solution.

Hi, ricardogerhard,

I'm having the same issue with Apr 2018 version. How can I delete the shared/user objects?

Thanks!

Hi,

They had this issue in their Feb 2018 Release and told me they will fix in

the next release, so I was assuming they would have fixed this issue in

April. Have you reached out to them? BTW this issue does not cause any

serious problem in the application.

Thanks

Lal

We had no issues with our applications in the Feb 2018 version. After upgrading to Apr 2018, visualizations in the appl do not load. Curious to know if these errors are causing the issues.

Dear Amuktha,

Yes, I removed all objects and files, but the issue wasn´t fixed. So, we opened a ticket and Qlik request that the applications should be reviewed.

My scenario has many and complex application,  with huge datasets that must be organized and summarized.

So, that was a solution.

Regars.

Hi Ricardo,

So, is this an application development issue? Thanks!

Yes, it can be a development issue, specifically performance related. If

the application is using heavy duty calculations/aggregation using

expressions etc.

Thanks

Hi Lal,

In that case, shouldn't the visualization show calculation timed out error ? Thanks!
