Can I seperate qvwebserver and qvs?

HI
My server is low performance now. And I notice that qvwebserver has a heavy load. Can I install 2 servers, which one  installed qvwebserver and the other  installed qvs? And how can I reduce load in server but not clustering.

Thank you

Zhou

  1. Are these machines in the same domain?
  2. Are you using a local or a domain account as service account on both machines?

These machines are not in domain. And I use a local account as service account on both machines. I have uninstalled IIS but the same error.

It's too late. I have to go now. It's 18:00 in my timezone.

Thank you for you all the day. Have a good weekend. I will ask you advice next week

Does the service accounts have the same name and password on both machines? If you are running with no domain, this is a requirement for service intercommunication.

Hi, I have run all the services.  The QVWS@qvs2003 is running after I change the policy.

The problem is when a windows 2008 server  visit a windows 2003 server it must use Send LM & NTLM – use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated in network policy.

http://grd.net.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/003_use_NTLMv2_session-security-if-negotiated.jpg

NOW the QVWS@qvs2003 is running but I can't visit from browser. I get 404error.

When visit http://qvs2003/qlikview  And I get HTTP 404 error.

When visit http://qv/qlikview, the service is ok and shows

HI Bob

I have 2 servers in my lab.

One is named qv running QVS service with Enterprise license, the other is named qvs2003 running QVWS without any license.  I have heard that QVWS do not need license. But I'm not sure about that.

My question is focus on post 45.

Thanks
