Hi,

As Peter mentioned above you can do this with QGIS. I've done something similar for Norway through this site:

https :// wambachers-osm.website/boundaries/

Lets you chose between only land or water and you can choose which level you would like it on. Country level, region level or all the way down to next level after region.

That being said since you have 3 countries it would take some time to export it all. If you do go through with it you have to

  1. Export it as .json.
  2. Rename the format from .geojson to .json
  3. Convert from .json to KML.
  4. Connect this info to your QlikSense datamodel.

It's a way, but not the easiest

Hi,

Yes it will. See below for example of the 4 regions of Brazil.

Hi Ali,

When I create QVD for Mexico KML and load into qliksense then it gives  "hypercube results are too large" message in  qlik sense map.the Procedure was toll lengthy.

Hi,

You could share your QVD, but once again.

1) Go to that site and export the country you want with regions.

2) Rename it from .GeoJson to .Json

3) Use a converter somewhere that does .Json-> .KML(like this one: https://geoconverter.hsr.ch/)

4) Load this into QlikSense it will work.

Added an example I just made for Brazil.

Uhm,

You are doing some other steps then what I did because I didn't get that hyper cube error, but if it works then it should be fine.

Mark the correct response correct so that it is easier for the next person that is looking for the answer.

Best,
