Set analysis, Sum({1} Sales/$(vExchangerate)), {1} doesn't work

Hi,

I have this statement:

=Sum ({1}Sales)/$(vExchangeRate)

I expect this would return sales for all years (2005 - 2009) but it only returns sales for selected year.

I also tried

=Sum ({1}Sales/$(vExchangeRate))

but this also returns only sales for selected year.

Is my assumption correct that it should return all years?

If not, should I create a date island?

Thanks

Hi,

but what is there in $(vExchangeRate)?

An expression? do you use  {1} in that?

Fixed number depending on currency selection . Each currency has 1 fixed exchange rate.

If  in the expression inside variable you don't use {1}, you divede Sum({1} Sales) for only exchange rate of the year selected.

is i tpossible?

Stefano.

If I understand your remark, yes, that's correct.
