Issue with Access Point using Safari for Windows

Using Safari for windows OS to enter to the accesspoint doesn't work, only shows the main page but not shows the little login window just stays with doing nothing, but using IE, Firefox or Chrome it works perfectly, im using QVS 10 SR3.

Does anyone have the same problem?

or someone knows if this is a bug?

Or anybody can tell me if safari for windows is not compatible for Qlikview accesspoint??

P.D. Using Safari on Iphone i can enter to access point with no problem using the same network.

The iPad with iOS 4.x is fine. The iPad with iOS 5 (which is now in BETA) will probably have Mobile Safari with the same Javascript engine as Safari Desktop 5.1...

Thanks.  So as I understand any older version of Safari with non-problematic Javascript engine should work perfectly fine on any version of Qlikview server.  It just Safari containing that particular Javascript engine has issue with all version of Qlikview server.

Is there somewhere we can go in QlikCommunity or QlikTech website to track progress on bugs and when they're due to be addresses?  We hit this one yesterday and it's impeding rollout of our app.  thanks.

We did get a patch for this from QlikTech which resolved the issue - hopefully it'll be included in a future SR (this patch works with the SR3).

Hi Milleraa, how did you obtain this patch? I've searched for it at the download section but cannot find anything.

It was a custom patch from support - I imagine if you contact them and tell them what you're after they should know about it (I hope!).

Confirmed! doesn work on iPAd with iOS5. Was fine untill iOS4.. but after upgrading today.. stopped working.. Need the patch immediately as ipad version will be use dby executives.

I've asked for the custom patch and received it. After installation QlikView on the iPad worked again.
