Synchronize QlikView authentification with Windows Active Directory authentification

Hello,

I'am begining with QlikView Server 8.5. I want to know how to synchronise Windows AD authentification with QlikView Authentification on QlikView Server. I read somewhere that, it is native in QlikView but i don't know what does it meants. What is the settings configuration step by step...?

I suppose you mean the dynamic data reduction feature of QlikView based on section access. If you're e.g. using NTNAME there QlikView automatically knows who you are according to AD authentification. Pls have a look at the manual for that.

If you're talking about the permissions when opening a document "in server": by default NTFS permissions are (or should be) active without further settings ..
