Hi all,
is it possible to make the dimension of a bar chart bold depending on specific values and how can I do this? The expression in the dimension tab doesn't seem to work and in the font settings of the axis I can only define the whole dimension as bold or not. Multi-coloring doesn't work either. Hmm...
Hope someone can help me.

Daniel
Interesting problem...see attached (expand the expressions with the + sign to see how this was done).

The manual states:
"When used in tables, the dimension data cells can be
dynamically formatted by means of attribute expressions."
So I don't think this will work for bar chart. You might ask why you are able to set the expressions then, I think this is due to the fact that you could switch between different chart types and the actual displayed chart type just regards the settings it is able to while ignoring others. But I agree this confuses the users and I don't really see an issue why not to format the dimension values for bar chart anyway.
Maybe you could work around this limitation using expression formatting, like formatting the bars themselfes or values / text displayed using values on data points.

Stefan

Well done Vlad, even much better looking than I had in mind!
It had never occurred to me to replace dimension legends with an expression set to "text on axis". Clever and simple. I need to remember that one.
This is really cool. Never thought of that solution. Thanks Vlad!
Nice Solution.
