Partial Sum

Dear all

The Total in Unit Cost ($327) and Amounts columns ($20,928) are incorrect, need your help to advise how to compute the Average Unit Cost and Total Amount ?.

Hi,

Could please elaborate your question with expected answer?

Total Amount Could be also calculated using =sum(Cost*Qty) formulae.

Avg Unit Cost could be calculated using Avg(Cost).

If this is not you are expecting then give us the some more information you question with expected answers.

Dear Sridhar

The Total for Amount is correct now ($4339) but not the Total Unit Cost ($65.4), it should be Total Amount/Total Qty = ($4339/64=$67.8).

You can use this below formulae to calculate Total Unit Cost

sum(Cost*Qty)/sum(Qty)

Unit Cost and Qty are inputed by the user, please advise why should I create a formula to compute Unit Cost again ?.
