Newbie: Enterprise Management Console - CALs

Hi,

I have inherited a QlikView installation and have an issue that properly started as user error, but now seems more of a system issue.

Some of the named users who have been assigned CALs have been quarantined for deletion.

I do not want this to be the case, I would like to reinstate them and stop them being deleted.

The problem - when I click on the blue arrow to "undelete" them, all seems fine until I click apply. At which point they are quarantined for deletion again.

None of the quarantined users can access the QlikView Presentation Document.

Some of teh quarantined users will remain in quarantine for another 24 hours, but for some, the quarantine period has passed. I can not reinstate any of them irrespective of quarantine time.

Appreciate any help on this, I am baffled.

Thanks,

Jon

Weird...sounds like some corruption in the PGO files. If you're OK with reassigning everyone's license from scratch then follow these steps:

  1. Stop the QlikView Server service
  2. Open C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer and delete all .PGO files in that folder
  3. Open your root AccessPoint folder and delete the .PGO files in there too
  4. Start the QlikView Server service
  5. Reassign all CALs as needed

Cheers,

Vlad
