Hi Yogesh,

It has happened to me sometimes that when the plugin tries to open something, the identification prompts, but the dialog does not show up, and you need to get it to the front using Ctrl + Alt until you see it. It should appear in the foreground letting you specify the user that is connecting and the document you want to open, but that window is opened somewgere else and can only retrieved this way.

Hope that helps.

open your application without data

start page ->recently opened file -> right click on application -> open without data

then reload the application

now optimize your application using optimization techniques

Hi Yogesh,

Does that dialog listing the available documents and folders show up?

Just to make sure that the Server is running fine, instead of using Accesspoint, use the QVP protocol from any IE running the Plugin:

qvp://yourqlikviewservernamehere/

That will show a dialog either showing the available folders and QlikView files or prompting for a user and password and the area for documents greyed out.

If that dialog appears and allows you to connect, the Plugin is running fine, and port 4747 (required for QVP protocol) is running without problems.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Maguel,

But In our client, One of the user facing the above problem on his machine while on all other user machines that QV applications working fine. this issue only for that user's machine.

May this is possible that this issue occur due to machine configuration or due to IE itself.

Have any Idea regarding this.....

Hi Yogesh,

Check the Internet Options so the user has the same proxy configuration that any other clients, that the QlikView Server is added to the Intranet Zones and that in the Custom Level, the Automatic logon with current username and password is the same as in other clients, check as well the firewall has opened port 4747 inbound and outbound.

Can you please confirm whether the QVP is working or not in that troubled client?

Hope that helps.

Miguel

1)turn off automatic website checking  (should be checked)

2) enable integrated windows authentication s(hould be uncheck)

3) check for publisher certification revocation (should be unchecked
