Why you need to go back?

8 and 9 are obsolete, update to 10 now. They have a lot of limitations for user and for developer also.

--> for me stable version is 10 SR4, most working ok, but no new functionalities of 11th version

--> newest version 11 has a lot of functionalities, you can find in webinars or training block

Every version of the Qlikview Reference Guide has a section titled "What's new in Qlikview nn". This is good place to get an overview of the features added in each version.
