Reg: Automation Server can't create object

Hi,

I am using Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition x64 bit on 64 bit machine while installing QlikView Server 64 bit 8.50.6261.5. I am getting this error.

I have checked IIS Version 6.0 running perfectly as well as ASP . Net Services is also enabled.

I get this error while opening QlikView Server Management Console from Start -> Programs -> QlikView -> after successfully installtion of QlikView Server.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Thanks in Advance

Did you check that Qlikview Server service was running ?

Did you already restarted your server (if possible) ?

Hi spator,

Thanks for your help!

After sucessful installtion of QlikView Server, when I go to QlikView Server Management to console to register it with license key.

That time, it gives this error. Once, it will be done then only i can start QlikView Server Service.

Do you know if asp is correctly installed and at last version ?

You can reinstall libraries by running Aspnet_regiis -i in a cmd window

Then retry,

Hope this will solve this strange behavior

1. Check your Event Viewer Application Log to see if you find anything.

2. Confirm that you have, Started the QV Server service

3. Restart your physical server and look for any special error messages

4. Goto Windows Update and ensure you have all the latest and greatest items needed

from the looks of it, either you have a bad install location because the console is trying for creating objects and cannot because of a bad path or that something is different in your server environment. Worst case, go into the registry and make sure the paths are pointing to the proper location of the install.

Hi Spator,

Microsoft dot net 2.0 is installed on the server.

Thanks
