Publisher Jobs over VPN

has anyone experienced issues starting publisher jobs over VPN connection?

i am able to start them but with successive clicking of at least 8-10 times on the run button.

in local environment it starts no problem. understandably that VPN is slow, there must be something I am thinking on publisher side code wise that it is not picking up the event when it happens.

please narrate your experiences or encounters faced if any. thanks.

Yes...I have the same problem. Now it has manifested itself to my local connection. It may be because there are many, many jobs listed in Publisher (8.5)...but they are not running.

Locally, if I need to run a job, I open it and change the execution time to present + 2 minutes. Save and close. The job successfully starts in 2 minutes and complete.

But why won't the start buttons respond?

I have the same issue in 8.5 .But it works fine in version 9.0.
