After installing QlikView Publisher standard edition on a windows 2003 server that is running QlikView Server 8.50.6231.0409.10 when I browse to http://<machinename>/ControlPanel/default.aspx I recieve the following message:
Failed to contact the local Qvs to retrieve LEF information.
The local Qvs is started but did not respond to the web service calls.
Does anyone know what may be going wrong?
Bring up the Windows Services dialog and make sure that all QlikView related services are started.
All of the QlikView related service (All the ones starting with the word QlikView) are started and I still get the error.
Are all services running with an Admin account?
I have changed all the services so that they run under an admin account and restarted them still to no avail.
