How exactly the AUS agreement work?

Maybe I just don't know what your are talking about, what is an AUS agreement, what's the context here and what does the abbreviation stands for?

AUS stands for Annual Upgrade and Support agreemetn. As I understand, that has something to do with an upgrade of the QVS licence year-by-year. But I don't know how that excactly works

I know the QV support agreement, but didn't know the term AUS. Never too old to learn something...
