Instruction on Extension download and use

Hi all,

I have downloaded a google map extension.

How can I use it on a qlikview document?

is there any instruction on doing that?

Hi,

well it depends on the extension.

If you downloaded it as a .qar file you should be able to install it just by double-clicking. Then you can open QlikView, switch to web view (menu View-> Turn on web view) and you will be able to add the extension object by right-clicking and choosing Add new sheet object.

The it is probably the matter of properly setting the object properties.

It is a USA google Map.

and I am wondering how do i connect it to the data that I have .

Like I have a field on my data called state and I am looking to connect it to the map.

when a user click on a state on the map then that state will be selected on the field that I already have.

Any ideas?
