Hi Jagan,

Thanks for your reply! I heard from someone saying that it is not possible to connect to Oracle using OLE DB.

Anyway is there is anyother Datasources which cannot be connected using OLE DB? I heard someone saying that we cannot use OLE DB in some of the databases.

Please name them if any!

Hi, At titude

It would depend on the DB vendor to provide an OLE DB driver. So, it may be difficult to identify and create a list of them.

For oracle databases, you need to install ODAC (Oracle Data Access Components) to get the OLEDB driver.

For SAP, althought you are able to connect to the database, you could break the license agreement. That`s will you need to use the SAP Connector, as discussed here:
