how to transpose a field in the qlikview?

Hi,

i have a field in the database by name MonthName, which has values like jan 03,feb 03....dec 03.

i want to show these values as column in the straight table like the image attached with this discussion.

so i want to transpose the values in the MonthName and show those values as column names in the straight table.

how can i show? can anyone help me in this issue?

Hi,

Use Pivot table and add Month as Dimension and drag Month Dimension to the top.

I believe you just want to use the MonthName as dimension in your chart. To get the dimension value on top, horizontal, either select 'horizontal' on presentation tab of the straight table chart or use a pivot table and drag the dimension to the top.

Hi  jagan,

even i have to do this, transpose

but i have a listbox, based on the listbox selection, the dimension should show at  the top, but not by drag and drop

can we do that?
