QlikView and Windows Vista

I'm acceding to QlickView server from my laptop with Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7.

But I cannot export report to Excel. Excel is opened but doing nothing.

No problem from another laptop and Windows XP

Need I do something specific for Windos Vista ?

No, not really; Excel Export should work on Vista the same way.

Which version of Excel are you using?

I would open a support ticket describing your problems in detail!

I'm working with Excel 2003 SP3 and Windows Vista Business SP2

Please try to check yourself in order to know if you also have same problem.

I'm seeing the same thing. Windows Vista, IE7, and Office 2007. Excel opens up blank. I can pop into AJAX and it works fine.

Jan - I had to turn 'User Account Control' off to get this to work. Under Windows Control Panel - go to User Accounts and pick the option to Turn User Account control off.
