execute cmd.exe

Hi,

I was wondering what the best way of starting external commands are with QlikView Server. At the moment the very first application that we refresh using QMC has a line

execute cmd.exe /C "D:\QV Applications\MoveQVdata.bat";

this fetches all required data for the reloads, the last file then has a similar command to move the data to a processed directory. This is not very structured because the last file to load keeps changing, has anyone a better way of doing this ?

Use the distributino functionality of the Publisher Enterprise, it give you alert emails for unsuccesful activities, Regards.

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately we don't have publisher hence the use of batch files to transfer data from WMS to QlikView.
