Macros not working properly in QlikView Server

Hi,

i have a qvw file, it's working fine in the QlikView Desktop.

but if i place the same file in the QlikView Server (AccessPoint), it is not working properly.

the Macro is not working properly. what could be the issue?

The functionalities are getting changed in the QlikView Server.

so what we have to do this?

Some macros you can not run on the server for security measures, the reload command is a good example.

Could you tell us where the functionality of your macro?

we are facing this kind of issue, onActivatesheet and on button. the macros are not working properly

You try to perform reload task in qlikview server?

If you want to perform reload task in qlikview server. You have to use EDX trigger which use HTTP POST (in Qlikview 10) or QMS API (in Qlikview 11).

In addition, some macro function doesn't support in server or perform differently in IE / AJAX.

For example, msgbox cannot be shown in AJAX but it does in IE plugin.

Also, you have to double check your server setting to enable the unsafe macro and turn off or lower your IE security level.

Maybe you can try CTRL + SHIFT + M (on client) and give the permission for the document.
