Trigger action(s) after bookmark selection

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to trigger an action (or even a macro) after a bookmark has been selected from a bookmarks bar?  I have tried OnActivate and OnDeactivate (sheet triggers) but these render the bookmark bar totally useless!

Thanks,

Jason

If I understood you correctly, I think this is not possible.

It has been discussed in a previous post here:

Thanks for that Erich - I looked but couldn't find a solution here.  That post is exactly my problem.

I wonder if there's another way around it - a macro to pop a box of bookmarks and selecting one fires a sequence of events?

Hi,

Seems link doesn't work anymore, but I found solution on my own:

1) create a variable;

2) create input box with this var and specify one value for it there;

3) tick a checkmark Include in Bookmarks;

4) save a bookmark with desired selections and needed var value

5) optional - you can now even delete created input box. Bookmark is still remain with defined var value.

Next time you apply a bookmark - it will trigger a var to change to specified value.

After that you can link to that var everything you need.

Cheers

Oleg
