Do we have to install it???
I need to ask my Client if installation is necessary.
There is no need to install. Just unzip and enjoy. Maybe u need admin rights.
The script editor does not show - on all of the documents? I had a time when the "EDIT SCRIPT" dialog was minimzed - it took me 2 hours to realize it 🙂
Dear All,
Did you guys able to solve this problem, as we are facing the exact same problem.
Till yesterday the qlikvew desktop was working fine , but today on-wards when we try to goto edit script its stops responding. Does it mean the software got corrupted and required a repair or re-installation.
Regards,
Vasim
Hi,
I can able to open Edit script. Ctrl+E.
Please find the below attachment.
It sounds like the Edit Script window is outside the visible area of the screen. Open up the registry (Start -> Run -> regedit) and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\QlikTech\QlikView\WindowPos and delete the string value named DlgPos334 (or all values to reset the positions for all windows in Qlikview). Restart Qlikview and try to access the Edit Script window again.

Hi Bill,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately i am unable to find the specified registry path mentioned by you.
I have attached the snap of the registry options i see for qliktech.
Hello Erika
I have the same problem. Have you resolved it ? How ?
Regards
Rainer
