i am creating a pivot table in which i am taking a column from database as row. from database i am getting six different rows but i want to add 2 more rows showing the total of these 8 rows and their count.
how can i do that.....plz help me

Doesn't checking the checkbox Show Partial Sums on the presentation tab get the result you want?
Check it for all the dimensions you want to see a total.
You could concatenate the additional 2 rows of data you need in your script - so they will then appear in your chart.
Is there a reason you down voted this idea?
It would do what they are looking for where they could use a unique expression to add another total so they can count and sum.

in my situation i am using 1 dimension and the data for that dimension i scoming from database....
and on the basis of that dimension i am calculating values for the columns. now i want to add a row which is showing the total of all the rows coming from the database and one showing the total....
