IE Plugin Menu

Hi,

I have unchecked the selectiontimestamp option in the user preference in the IE Plugin.But when i saved the QVW file and open again the check box is enabled for USer prefernce -Export Tab- selectiontimestamp .

Is there any way to hide this Menu in IE plugin and also uncheck the selectiontimestamp by default.

I want to hide this menu in IE plugin.I tried something from forum to add the registry but it didnt work.

I have not found away to do this. The Client setting would require you touching (editing) the settings.ini on the users machines. There was a hack in years past to remove the menu, but it wasn't supported by QlikView.

What has to be changed in the Ini settings. Could you please provide the details. Will it work in client server Architecture.

The two setting you are looking at are:

SelectionStampInBIFFExport=0

SelectionStampInHTMLExport=0

These would be under the header:

[Settings 7]

Not sure with you can set this file to read only are not.
