Unable to display some QVW externaly.

Hello,

could you please help me?

We have 8 dashboard that we can see inside the network very well.

But when I try to reach those dashboard from external, only few of them are displayed correctly.

I have a question mark on it.

I don't understand why.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello Simon,

Check the following questions so we can move forward:

  • Can you please elaborate on what's exactly what is happening and what do you expect?
  • Are you using the IE Plugin client or the Ajax client?
  • Which version of browser does the user have?
  • What kind of objects are you using?
  • Are they using tablets or mobile devices?
  • Which version of QlikView?
  • Do they experience the same whether they open the dashboard in IE Plugin or Ajax?

Hope that helps.

Hy Miguel,

Thank you for your support 🙂

  • Can you please elaborate on what's exactly what is happening and what do you expect?
When I access to the access point from outside the network (internet), some of the dashboard are     marqued with an x red cross. When i click on it I have a error Code: 500 Internal Server Error. The request was rejected by the HTTP filter. Contact the server administrator. (12217)

  • Are you using the IE Plugin client or the Ajax client?

                    I try both of them.

  • Which version of browser does the user have?

IE8 and specially safari with IPHONE and IPAD.

  •      What kind of objects are you using?

What do you mean by objects? I am not a developer sorry. 😕

  • Are they using tablets or mobile devices?
           Both of them.
  • Which version of QlikView?
           Version 11.

Hy,

I found the solution.

Here is an explanation:

My website was published with reverse proxy from Microsoft (TMG 2010). On the website rule (publishing rule),right clik and go to "CONFIGURE HTTP".

You must disable in URL PROTECTION, "verify normalization" and also "block high bit characters".

It works as well.
