I have a document in which I am using the OnSelect field trigger to run a macro routine.
The macro is accessing only document objects to query selected values in a field and store the results in a variable. It is not accessing the file system or any other application.
If I manually reload the document using the desktop client, it works fine in the desktop client, and it also works when I copy it to a server mount point and access it using the zero footprint client.
However, when I use Publisher tasks to build and distribute the document to the server mount point, the OnSelect trigger definition is deleted. The macro code is still there, but the call to the macro function from the OnSelect field trigger event is missing.
Has anyone else ever seen this behavior?
