Dimension field change in PivotTable with macro

Hi all,

i have a pivottable, and it has two dimensions. i need two change the field defined in second dimension. I know that it's possible to use RemoveDimension and then AddDimension, but for some reasons i need to keep the dimension and only change the field name in defination. Do you think that it is possible?

i will appreciate any help.

Best Regards

Peyman

Hi,

I think the field name we can't chang.but you can achieve your requirement by adding and removing the second dimension.

Please check the attached file.

Hope it helps you.

Hi

I agree with the previous post. Cyclics are almost always better than macros.

Thank you all,

"Rav" you are right and this is what i have done in my project. but consider i have 3 dimension and i need to change 2nd, with this method i need to delete 2 and 3, and then add new 2nd and then the same 3th.

i know how to use the groups, but in this special case i can't use them.
