Opendoc link to QlikView document reports "Unexpected exception occurred!" error to website

On our website, there are links to QVW documents used for reporting.

Using QV 10 Server (x64) on a Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Standard (x64) machine, clicking the links to QV documents report "Unexpected exception occurred!"  After closing the error, they click the link again, and the report opens successfully.  Any idea what might be going on here?

The event logs on the server don't show any errors.  Uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin did not correct the issue.

The same behavior is reported when navigating to the server's Access Point, and opening the document from there.

I'm thinking this might be something unrelated to the application, but I wanted to get some feedback from experts.  Thanks!

There is someone else on this forum having the same issue.  Is there anything in the Application logs on the client computer?  Maybe this is a local thing.

I've experience sporadic occurrences of the described scenario, but I was never able to find any errors logged on the local PC or server.  Also, I've seen this both in version 9SR7 and 10SR4.

This is a frustrating situation, because a refresh always corrects the issue.

Is there a ticket opened for this item?

Thanks for the help; I don't see anything in the client (or server) Windows logs that relates to QV or my website.

In QVS, there is a setting that you can mark for high level logging and stuff.  Please go into your QMC and set those to high.  They are found in the QV Server, and then under logging.  Let that run for a couple of days and then go back and review the logs.  That might shed some light.

I don't see anything unusual in the logs -- no errors or warnings.  Nothing in the Windows logs, either.  I'm going to try to have them use Ajax and see what the results are.
