Enable Directory Listing

Hi,

Is it possible to view the directory structure on qlikview server for a local folder deployed on the qlikview web server.

If it is possible, please provide the steps to do it.

(Note: It is possible to view these folders in Documents tab on qlikview mgmt console.

         I want to view them through a http url (thru web and not thru qlikview mgmt console))

Hi,

I don't really understand your question. Do you mean you want to see the folder structure not using the Documents tab, but instead using the Explorer you want to use the Management Console?

Hi,

I mean as we are able to view the directory structure(all folders listed in a folder) on apache server though ahttp url.
Similarly, i wish to view the directory structure on qlikview web server through a http url.
Example, I am able to view documents using http://servername/folder1/data.txt but am not able to view all folders that exist inside folder1.

Hi,

Yes, that's correct with Apache. The QVWS is a small, all in one compact web server and works with its htm, js, css and apsx pages. The QVWS does not have that functionality so you either use the IIS instead allowing the listing of folders or create some sort of middle page in .NET that allows you to do that.
