QlikView PDF Report Distribution

Hi,

I have the following question:

Can I distribute PDF files with QlikView Publisher, without any add-on for QlikView PDF Report Distribution.

more precisely: If the client wants to distrubutirat pdf Reports based qlikView files, is it necessary to purchase a license for QlikView PDF Report Distribution or it can be done with QlikView Publisher.

Hi,

You need a Publisher license and the PDF distribution add on to do this automitacally from QlikView Server.

You can have your users install a free PDF print driver, such as BullZip PDF Printer, then write a macro that sends your reports or objects to this printer via a button. That's a partial solution anyway.

There are two ways to distribute PDF Report

1) QVPDFCreator

2) Qlikview Publisher with PDF Distribution License.

Option 1 dono have any cost . you can freely download from Qlikview , whereas you have to pay for option 2.
