HELP NEEDED IN YOY CALCULATION

Hi qlikgurus,

i need to calculate yoy calculation so logic is current year week-previous year week/previous year week

so i 'm have week sequence num  field for 2yrs like 1(firstweek) to 104(last week)

so i'm using expression like sum({1<WEEK_SEQUENCE_NUM={$(=ONly(WEEK_SEQUENCE_NUM)-52)}>}UNITS)

I'm using  dimensions as month and name of the week and all the values are 0

i'm doing this in pivot table

can you please help with expression

Hi,

I think you need to convert your week sequence into 2 columns of data during data load, something like below:

WeekNum, Year

1, Year1

2, Year1

....

52, Year1

1,Year2

2,Year2

...

And then use set analysis with Year=Year1 and Year=Year2.

If you can provide an example data set or qlikview file, I can try to help.

thanks Bilge AYDIN for the work around but my requirement need to have adweek as second dimension

in other words if user select week sequence no . is 98 then it previous week is 98-52=46

so value should be like

sales of week 98- sales of week 46 / sales of week 46

but your workaround doesn't works like that
