Determine Users to Get to 80%

How do I determine how many Users it takes to reach 80% of sales?

For example, I have 5 users (very simple example):

UserName, Sales

Scott, 25

Jack, 15

Sally, 20

Bob, 10

Nancy, 5

How do I sort high to low by spend and then determine that my top 3 users make up >=80%?  The answer I want to achieve is "3".

Thanks

Will it be at load time? Do you want to take some actions when the 80% is reached?

You may use a pareto select and count the number of selected on the field the pareto is selected.

I was hoping to do it in a chart or text box.

I am not familiar with Pareto.

Hi,

If you are Qlikview 11, you can achieve this by using Dimension Limits tab.  Check attached screen shot.

Also check attached QVW file with pareto implementation using Pareto feature.

Hope this helps you.

Jagan.

Thank you.  I realize i can use dimension limits to limit the number shown, but then how do I count the number that are shown in the table without the user having to go through the entire list?

Your Pareto example was great, it helped a lot.  Is there any way I can do the Pareto Select without a button? (i.e. in the expression for a text box)?
