Hi,

I have a job which is set to run at 9am which is not triggering for some reason and when it finishes running it completes but the job looks like it is still running on QMC any ideas?

Thanks

Felim

If it's not triggering, how can it still be running? I'm confused.

Try looking at the task log and see what it says. You might also want to activate the document log to see what's happening in the script run.

Hi,

Have a look at this discussion, it may help (equally it may not!):

http://community.qlik.com/message/227481#227481

If it's the same thing a few of us have experienced then it's something that's been talked about quite recently and a bug ticket has been raised with QlikView I believe.

Hope that helps,

Chris

Yep, sounds like the same thing discussed in the post I linked to. I tried restarting all of my QlikView services on the server and that seemed to help. Someone else tried a complete re-install and had good results from it. Not sure there's a definite fix for it though.

The endless running has stopped now, lets hope the next scheduled job works.

I have similar issues with my task,  in ver 11. I even delete from  my apps from the directory, but on the page Status I see that my task is still running.

I tried to restart Services, but there is no effect.

I don't think that reinstall is a best solution.

Thanks all in advance,

I restarted  all QV services and after all restarted Distribution Service again. And all my triggered tasks looks OK, more over according to the  Status page all my tasks were complited.
