Best practice to link several different dates when applying filters

Hello!

I have an app that has several different dates (for Sales, Market Share, Service requests, etc) and I want to find the best way of having a date filter that will filter them all together at some point and also be able to do it separately

Right now I am using set analysis on the expressions:
count({<MonthYearSI=MonthYear>} SINumber)

This enables me to have the same selections for both dates but I don't know if there's a better practice, because now I am changing the layout to have 3 different date filters, Year, Quarter and Month
Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated
