I am not getting email alert when job fails for Qlikview 11. I add my email under System->Setup->Alerts->Address. In qlikview 9 there was a place for user to enter smtp server address but that doesnt exist in qv 11.
In System > Setup, open the tree view and you will see the 'Mail Server' under 'Management Service'. Select it and then you'll be able to setup the mail configuration.
In order to track and notify error in document load. There is alert mechanism in QlikView document, maybe we can use that as under. This will send out email on reload failure of document in case of error.
