Fast Type change graph BackGruoung Color

Hi Dear QV Community

I have a proble with a Graph Object with Fast Type Change activated for Bar/Line Graph and Pivot Table, becose the color of the Bar/Line Graph is defined by a formula RGB in backgrond color submenu of expression in the expressions Tab. When I make the fast changer to pivot table, the background color of the columns of the table is the same as the bars/lines, I know how to detect this type of graph and thus can assign white color to backgroun color for pivot table and RGB Color for the background color in bar/line graph.

this may not be the ideal solution...........try chaning color in visula cues of pivot table

Hi,

There are 2 ways u can change the background color

1. go the chart properties--> visual cues there u have background color there u can change

2. go to style tab of chart properties there u find the option background , here u can change the color to the desired one.

Hi,

I am facing the same problème, but visual cue is not working.

I am not using variable for my bar chart colors, just the RGB finction in the background of the expression.

If I use the visual cue in the Pivot type chart, it is working for the text color (as i don't have difien colors in the bar chart) but not for the background.

I don't know how you can detect on which type of chart you are.

How did you succeed putting white as background in your pivot table?
