Hi,
I am new to QlikView. I have a user who is not able to export the report into excel. He has Office 2010 in Windows 7 environment. Does anyone experienced the same problem. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Sateesh
hi Sateesh,
Check the UAC control in the system. You need to reduce the level of UAC. You will find it Control Panel-->Users.
If you notice you will not be able to create excel file in the Temp folder or even in C:\ .this is because of the rights issue in Windows7 and vista.
Once the UAC level is at low you will be able to export the data from qlikview and also create and save the excel file on the drive.
hai deepak,
please can you attach example file of sending all sheet objects in a sheet to excel file. I heared this can be done through macros, if you are having already existed attachement please share to me.
And my system configuration is Windows7 and MS office is 2003.
This is my urgent task to complete today.
Thnks
HI gsateesh,
This definitely works on both Windows 7 and office 2010. We have been using it for quite a while. As Deepak suggested it might be the UAC settings preventing you from exporting the reports. We usually just disable the UAC in windows anyway so haven't tested it with the UAC setting enabled.
Hope it solves your problem.

Gj.
hi Venkat,
Just disable you UAC control from client machines. No need to write macro code for it.
